Welcome to Truro Primary School

Truro Primary School's purpose is to facilitate a quality learning environment that results in high standards of learning and care for all students. The school values honesty, respect, responsibility, excellence and trust and these values are embedded into the teaching. The current enrolment is
57 students who are allocated into three classes.

A play centre operates every Friday. Parental support is very strong and the relationship that
exists between students, parents and staff reflects strong community building strategies that
make the school a great place to learn and grow. The school has a strong ICT focus across all curriculum areas and Indonesian is taught at all year levels. Sports events are a highlight for the students who are actively involved in many sporting events including an interschool sports day
with eight other schools.

The school receives support from personnel in the Murray-Mallee District, our parent Learning Assistance Program workers and volunteers, and a Christian Pastoral Support Worker who is onsite two days a week, offering support to the whole school community. Religious seminars are held once a term and school camps are held biannually.
